Our Vision
Addressing urgent needs for further improved patient care
If radiologists cannot find adequate time and peace-of-mind to read complex cases, the quality of their output may be impacted. That means that the best possible analysis may not always be provided. Patient care is thus compromised.
The overburdened radiologist – without at all intending so! – thus carries a risk of a compromised diagnostic report.
Up to 50% of all CT scans turn out to be normal. That means: the disease for which the CT scan was requested turns out not to have symptoms. Yet, the radiologist did have to read the scan, to arrive at this conclusion.
What if, there are technical solutions that would bring that decision? Solutions that are deemed robust, meet all the FDA and CE criteria, have been scrutinized in peer-reviewed scientific processes?
Think about it, how such solutions could take work load off the backs of the global 350,000 radiologists.
Our Mission:
PRMSE brings SaaS AI-driven solutions to the global world of radiology. The Company thus contributes to reducing the burden of the ever growing populations, the increasing demands on radiology and the need to bring faster and equally correct diagnoses.
Management
-
Pieter van der Poel - MBA
Founder & CEO
I have extensive experience in oncology, focusing on breast and lung cancer. As a marketeer, I recognize the crucial role of robust AI tools in screening for lung cancer and other thoracic diseases.
I am committed to advancing these tools, even though such solutions don’t yet exist. Providing people with the knowledge about their lung health is essential. Early screening saves lives, and automation tools will significantly benefit humanity globally.
Screening should be accessible to everyone!
-
Dr. Alex(andru) Puiu - PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
I’m a scientist with extensive R&D experience in AI-driven MedTech and Diagnostics, focused on advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes. I’ve led global clinical programs, navigated complex regulations, and successfully brought innovative medical technologies to market.
I focus on validating PRMSE:’s disruptive AI tools for early lung cancer detection - a mission inspired by losing my grandfather to late-stage cancer.

A tool that identifies and segregates cases most likely to be normal could add great value. Allowing a streamlined review and a reader's preferred time of workday.
Until today such a tool does not exist.

Testimonials
-
"Throughout my entire academic career I have been advocating public health to be the underpinning of a strong society. Having supported numerous charity projects in the world, I am providing my full support to the societal projects that PRMSE: Screening for All is driving. Only with early screening is the fight against cancer a fair one.”
Dr. Noel M. Tichy is a Professor of Management & Organizations at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan

“Estimation of risk in lung cancer screening I see as an important. Ever improving this estimation based on images and other information serves the population at risk for lung cancer. The path PRMSE: is on holds promise."
